Subject: Display of “Mandatory Public Disclosure” on the Home Page of the school’s website under a prominent icon labeled “Mandatory Public Disclosure” for easy access by the public to ensure transparency (reference Cir. No. 03/2021 dated 05.03.2021)

Detailed Provisions :-

  • To promote transparency and foster trust among stakeholders, CBSE mandates the disclosure of essential information by affiliated schools. This information must be displayed on the school’s website as per Clause 2.4.9 of Affiliation Bye-laws 2018, following the format prescribed in Appendix IX of Circular dated 05/03/2021.

    Schools are directed to feature this information on the Home Page under a clearly visible “Mandatory Public Disclosure” icon for easy accessibility. Despite clear instructions, some schools have not complied. Schools must adhere to both State Education Department and CBSE Affiliation and Examination Bye-Laws to ensure transparency and accessibility.

    Compliance with these provisions is a prerequisite for granting or extending affiliation. School leaders and managers must ensure compliance with the Circular dated 05.03.2021 within one month, or the Board may take action as per Chapter 12 of Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018.

A. General Information

  • Name of the School
  • Affiliation No. (if applicable)
  • School Code (if applicable)
  • Complete Address with Pin Code
  • Principal Name & Qualification
  • School Email ID
  • Contact Details (Landline/Mobile)

B. Documents and Information

  • Copies of Affiliation/Upgradation Letter and Recent Extension of Affiliation, if any.
  • Copies of Societies/Trust/Company Registration/Renewal Certificate, as applicable.
  • Copy of No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued, if applicable, by the State Govt./UT.
  • Copies of Recognition Certificate under RTE Act, 2009, and its Renewal, if applicable.
  • Copy of Valid Building Safety Certificate as per the National Building Code.
  • Copy of Valid Fire Safety Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
  • Copy of the DEO Certificate submitted by the school for Affiliation/Upgradation/Extension of Affiliation or Self Certification by School.
  • Copies of Valid Water, Health, and Sanitation Certificates.

 Important Note: All listed documents must be self-attested by the Chairman/Manager/Secretary and Principal. Non-genuine documents may result in action as per CBSE norms.
